About Us

What Is LACAHSA?

The Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency (LACAHSA) is a regional, intergovernmental agency established to tackle the housing crisis through bold, collaborative action. Created by California state legislation and supported by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and partner cities, LACAHSA brings together local leaders to accelerate affordable housing production, preserve existing housing, and prevent displacement across the region.

Our Funding Model

LACAHSA is funded through a mix of public, philanthropic, and private sources — including L.A. County Measure A, earned income, and strategic partnerships with the capital markets. This flexible model allows us to move quickly, scale smart solutions, and invest in what works to keep people housed.

LACAHSA is governed by a diverse Board of Directors composed of elected officials and housing leaders across Los Angeles County.
